Ex Spice Girl Geri Halliwell delivers a girl

Ex Spice Girl Geri Halliwell gave birth at 9 pm last night, Sunday, May 14th to a baby girl via C-section at London’s Portland Hospital.  A hospital source said, "The birth went well. Mother and daughter are doing fine."  Her mother was present at the birth but not the baby’s father who is rumored to be her ex-boyfriend, Sacha Gervasi.

Her obstetrician, Malcolm Gillard, was the same who delivered David and Victoria Beckham’s son Brooklyn and oversaw the birth of their third son Cruz.

The name and other details have not been released.

Do they celebrate Mother’s Day on the same day in the UK as they do in North America? What a nice Mother’s Day present for her! Can’t wait for a name.

Hey fumar, Mother’s Day is celebrated in March in the UK. I’ve read that Geri has a home in L.A. as well as the U.K., so I’m sure she will sometimes get to celebrate the baby’s birthday on Mother’s Day…8)
