Johnny Depp quits smoking for kids

Johnny Depp is apparently desperate to quit smoking for the sake of his children. He normally smokes his personally rolled Bali Shag’s and lately he has been cutting back, but now he is trying to stop altogether. He says "it’s a dumb addiction…and with the kiddies, man, just being a parent – you start worrying 10 years ahead of the curve." Johnny has two children, Lily-Rose, 6 1/2, and Jack, 4, with girlfriend Vanessa Paradis.

I think Lily-Rose is 6 (nearly 7) and Jack is 4. But it doesn’t really matter. I’m really happy that he’s giving up smoking for his kids, especially because I think he smoked A LOT.

My dad gave up smoking for my brother and I, although he still smokes cigars a couple times a week, which really bugs me still.
