English soccer star Steven Gerrard, 25, and his fiancee Alex Curran, 23, welcomed their second daughter. Lexie was born at 2 am on May 9th, after the labor was induced Monday night. As we previously reported, the Gerrards chose to induce 11 days before Alex’s due date to ensure Steven would be there – he has World Cup commitments in the coming weeks. Lexie weighed in at 7 lbs, 6 oz, and joins big sister Lily-Ella, 2 1/2.
Photographs show the couple leaving the hospital at 1:20 pm on Tuesday – less than 12 hours after the birth!
