Tom Cruise in the new Good Housekeeping about Katie Holmes

In the June issue of Good Housekeeping, dad for the third time Tom Cruise talks about his relationship with Katie/Kate Holmes, saying that he "knew almost as soon as he met her…I thought, ‘I’m going to be with this woman.’ And then after a couple of hours, I thought, ‘I’m going to marry this woman.’ I just knew."

Tom also added in the interview that he didn’t think that either ex-wives (Mimi Rogers and Nicole Kidman [with whom he has Isabella and Connor]) would mind him sharing his relationship with Katie so publicly because "the happiness I’m feeling, that’s absolutely what I wish for them. I really do."

Tom said that Katie and himself have not married yet but "in many ways, we feel like we already are married. I know I’m with the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with. So the wedding – that’s just the party." Tom said at the MI3 premiere that the wedding would be "next fall", though rumors were surrounding a July wedding. The reason that contributed to them not marrying while Katie was pregnant with daughter, Suri, 3 weeks, was because he was so busy filming MI3, but also because "it’s going to be really special to have our new baby there."
