Katie Holmes' nursing bra fiasco

Oops! While out with Tom Cruise in Los Angeles on Friday, Katie Holmes’ nursing bra came unclipped as her jacket blew open, leaving the world to see a bit more than she intended. Baby Suri is two and a half weeks old.

Oh, I feel bad for her! That could happen to anyone but to have it photographed for the world to see!

I wonder if the paps clued her in? It kinda looks like in the last couple pics that Tom is maybe trying to shield her and her face has suddenly changed from all smiles! Opps! 8)

I was about to say the same thing…she looks awfully worn out…..wonder if shes getting any help from daddy Cruise? I never see him with bags under his eyes…:S

erin, I think she looks a bit wind blown maybe, but then I thought she looked like that throughout most of her pregnancy. I actually like that she’s a little more chunky right now. It looks good on her, in my opinion. 8)

She looks well. The added weight does become her.

I would be very worried if she looked spectacular.

That sucks for her!

I think the reason she looks so worn out is, it seems like she’s been alone with the baby most of the time.. I’m not positive, but wasn’t Tom in Europe last few weeks? for atleast a couple of days? Either way, he’s been doing press for MI3.. hopefully now they can both rest and be w/ the baby

Poor Katie! OH, I mean Kate. I feel for her and feel awful that pictures were taken of this. Poor girl. KUDOS to her for breastfeeding though.
She got her haircut, right?? She looks like a typical “new mom.” Frazzled, not getting much sleep…..at least she didn’t hire a nanny to do it all! Way to go, Katie!!!

Even with the constant help of my mom and my husband, I still looked like complete crap until my son was about 6 weeks old and the ‘new parent shock’ started to wear off. It’s normal, and I don’t think she looks that bad. Breastfeeding is hard work and Tom can’t help her with that, so I’m sure she has good reason for looking so tired.

I think BOTH she and Tom look absolutely exhausted. but Tom’s just wearing sunglasses to hide it. I mean, come on. who wears sunglasses at NIGHT?

it’s too bad the whole world has to see her nursing bra, but it makes her more human! i think she looks terrfic, incredible and every glowing adjective under the sun, for just having had a baby two weeks ago!

Trishka, the girl may look beat, but she is anything but alone.Tom Cruise may be weird, but I am sure that they have “hired help”.Trust me,if Gwyneth and Liv have nanny’s etc. (even though they are mostly always pictured without them)Katie and Tom have some sort of system as well.

And she’s had a baby, she is not carrying the world on her back.She is rich, and has more sources at her fingertips than most mums.So,I don’t feel bad for her at all.Those feelings go to single and young mums.

And I agree with the poster who said that Tom can’t win either way (if he chooses to stay home or to work and promote his new film).

Oh, i didn’t mean she was completely alone by herself with the baby, I mean she was the only parent there with the baby… I’m sure she had to get up everytime the baby was hungry, etc etc. Since she is breastfeeding, it’s not like she has a nanny to turn to and say “here it’s your turn to breast feed” Unless them scientologists have someone like that.

Money can’t solve all problems. No matter how much money she has, she will still be tired and exhausted. No matter your station, bringing a baby into this world is hard work.
It always irks me when people assume that celebrities HAVE to look great just because they have nannies and can afford stylists.

Okay, I think that’s cute. It makes her more real. I can relate because I’ve had some embarrassing moments with the nursing bra.

Maria, don’t get angry.You misunderstood what I was saying.I never denied that she looks like crap.My point was she was not left behind and abandoned.And that she is in the best of care that they can possibly be in.And I don’t sympathize with her at all.I’m sorry, maybe i’m just jaded or having a bad day.I work at a shelter for pregnant women.They come battered, young, homeless, addicted etc.They deserve my sympathy.And rightly so.Far more than Katie Holmes.
