Teri Hatcher wants to adopt!

Desperate Housewives star Teri Hatcher has revealed that she would like to adopt a child! Talking to Good Morning America Teri announced that her and daughter Emerson, 8, have spoken about adopting a child, "Emerson and I have talked about it. She wants it to be a girl, and I think she’d be a great big sister."

But Teri is still a little hesitant, "The way I look at it, one child would have a father and one wouldn’t. One child would come and go from (the father’s) house, and one wouldn’t … I’m not saying it’s impossible… (but) I haven’t completely given up on finding a partner."

I can understand her concerns, and while fathers are VERY important, I believe she could still offer a child a very loving home.

Many children are raised by only one parent in this day and age. While 2 is obviously preferred, I don’t think she should let it stop her from adopting.
