Britney Spears has a press conference scheduled today to promote her fragrance. Rumor has it that when she is asked if she is pregnant, she will confirm it. According to In Touch magazine, she discovered the pregnancy during a "routine ultrasound exam."

No kidding. Apparently when you are of Britney’s stature, you just have routine ultrasounds like regular haircuts? Please. Surely they could think of something less ridiculous to say. I bet she didn’t need an ultrasound to find out she was pregnant (supposing she in fact is), confirm it, maybe, but I bet she already had a pretty good idea.

Yeah, that sounded kinda weird to me too. It’s no surprise however that she really wants a girl! I remember her stating that she wanted a little princess during the early stages of her pregnancy w/ little Sean. If she is, I wish her a healthy pregnancy and baby….

Maybe she was having the ultra-sound done for some other medical reason? I had to have one a few years back when I was experiencing some “female” problems. Just a thought…or, more likely it’s just a made up rumor.
I for one am soooo tired of the pregnancy rumors. 5 months of ‘is she’ or ‘isn’t she’ is getting crazy…unless she loves the extra publicity and harassment of the paparazi, I don’t understand why she doesn’t just announce it. Under 3 months I can understand caution, but if she is pregnant and due in October, wouldn’t this make her about 4-5 months along right now?
I’m sure her fans would be excited for her and would appreciate sharing her happy news! Hopefully we’ll get announcement soon…

Yeah I agree, ultrsounds are anything but routine. (Though who knows how “they” would know exactly what Britney did in the doctor’s office.)
Anyway I don’t know either why she hasn’t announced her pregnancy yet, although maybe she’s afraid of the criticism from friends, family, and the general public who may think that she had her kids too close.
If she is pregnant again we’ll probably hear about it soon enough, and not just in reference to doctor’s visits, paint chips, and interior decorating.

Well, if she is afraid of criticism, she may as well get over it. No matter when she announces it, she will be criticized. If she terminated the pregnancy, she would be criticized. No matter what she does or doesn’t do it doesn’t change the fact that she is Britney and will be criticized. She may as well either deny or confirm once and for all.

If she is pregnant, I hope she takes the time to enjoy it. Yes, she had her babies close together…so do a lot of people. She should have fun with this pregnancy and not let the stress of disappointed eyes from her mother, fans, strangers, or anyone else spoil this beautiful time!
In my opinon, she hasn’t been the poster child of motherhood,but what’s done is done. When you know better you do better…she hopefully will start doing better. Again, IF she is pregnant I wish you a happy, healthy pregnancy!
