Kobe and Vanessa Bryant welcome a second daughter

Kobe Bryant and his wife Vanessa gave birth to a healthy baby girl early this morning. Gianna Maria-Onore was born at 2:03 am on Monday, weighing 6 lbs, 7 oz and measuring 18 1/2 inches. Both mother and baby are doing great. Gianna joins big sister Natalia, 3.

"The arrival of our new daughter Gianna early this morning is such an incredible blessing for me and my family," said Bryant. "We are all full of beautiful emotions after such an incredible day."

Wow, same day as Shaq had his little girl! That’s almost as ironic as Tom and Brooke having their daughters on the same day. I think Kobe and Shaq share a similar dislike for each other…not? I like the name Gianna….very pretty!

Yay! Congrats to them!! I bet Gianna is as beautiful as her mom and sister! I love both those name…Gianna and Natalia. My friend’s daughter’s name is Gianna and they call her Gia.

Gianna is on my list of names although in my daycare their are several so it might be crossed off soon. I don’t like names that become overly popular lol.
