Katie and Tom's baby registry

I know, I know. Not another Katie Holmes post. But someone sent this to me and it appears to be legit.

Apparently on Access Hollywood, Billy Bush made an appearance and revealed that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes had a baby registry for their daughter, Suri. He said the couple registered at Petit Tresor, a trendy Beverly Hills baby store that’s very popular with the stars. You can see it online here.

Three 9 oz Avent bottles for $28! That’s insane. You can get that same set for like $5 or so at Wal*Mart or Target. But hey, they have the money so why not.

All that stuff is outrageously expensive for me though and I would never spend like $40 on shoes for a kid that doesn’t even walk!

^^Tai, they are spelling the word BABY, they registered for 2 Bs. If the R is referring to the wooden basket, it says that you can personalize it with a letter, so I think that is just a stock pic. And, yes, it’s been said that they knew the sex of the baby before the birth.

Maybe that means something else though.

You would think with all their money – instead of gifts they would request a donation to a children’s charity be made in the baby’s name.

Anyone wonder why only one thing has been purchased when they have already had a shower? I personally don’t think it is real because I think there would have been more things that would have been purchased when she had her shower.

Wow is that store overpriced. I know they are rich and all but why would they want to waste all that extra money on items that are selling at that store for at least twice as much as an average store. I own the Frog Pod and I know I paid well under $30.00 for it and I have both of the Avent bottle items listed on their registry and both of those same sets can be purchased at Babiesrus.com the 3 9 0z bottles are $12.99 and the newborn starter set is $29.99. Now I personally have never seen an Avent item at Walmart. All we use is Avent and it is a pain because we have to go at least 3 minutes to a Target or Babies R Us to purchase those items. Off the subject but does anybody else use the Avent bottles and have them leak now and then after sealing them? I know they work off an interlocking system but geez at 3-4 in the morning having the bottle leak all over you in the dark can really test your nerves!!! I personally get so aggravated I swear I’m going to buy a different brand of bottles the next day but love them so much other than that I can’t bring myself to do it!!!

Yes these celebs can afford it but its all about the sentiment too. Just because you’re rich doesnt mean that you dont want to buy your loved one or family member or friend a gift too. Its not about the money but the thought behind it and celebs gave each other gifts too.

This might be legit but I would expect more things to be sold from this.

That is totally a publicity ploy by that store. That store has the best PR person because they are always “leaking info” about so and so who shopped there and bought this or that for their baby, and it turns out the gender doesn’t even match.

IF the couple even had a registry, which I highly doubt since they could buy anything tenfold, would they really put it under their own names? And because that store always has these “leaks” they have proven they can’t handle respecting the privacy of their clients, so what other celebrity would even be interested in using the store? There would be no trust of confidentiality there.

I agree with you lulululu. A previous post said KH spent something like $20K in that store. If that’s true I think they probably made a list that closely matches what she bought and are passing it off as her registry.
I’m sure they don’t actually know what the due date was (so they picked a week later than the birth since many first babies are a week early) nor do I think TC or KH would have registered under their own names that way.

Also, given that the store is so overpriced, I doubt that KH would have asked her normal friends to pay so much money for shower gifts.
