Passions star Eric Martsolf welcomes twin sons

Update: Introducing the boys! Chase Evan (5 lbs, 6 oz, 19") is on the left, in Eric’s arms. Mason Alan (6 lbs, 5 oz, 19.5"), is in Lisa’s arms.

Passions Eric Martsolf, who plays Ethan, and his wife Lisa welcomed fraternal twin boys on Friday, April 7th. The boys are named Mason Alan and Chase Evan (so named for "chasing" his brother out of the womb!) Eric previously said the couple was choosing simple first names to go with their unusual last name.

Congrats to Eric & Lisa! Eric is such a sweet guy. I’m a member of Eric’s message board and he’s very active on it, so we know how anxious he (and Lisa, of course) was to have these babies arrive. I’m sure he’ll get a lot out of his time off to spend time with his wife and bond with his sons. I love the names as well–Chase has been a favorite of mine for years.

I think Passions is having a male baby boom — with Eric’s twins, and McKenzie Westmore’s baby Maddox coming in a couple of months and Galen Gering’s baby boy coming in August.
