Liv Tyler and baby Milo in NYC

04/12/2006 at 11:00 AM ET

Liv Tyler and her son Milo William Langdon, 16 months, were seen out in NYC last Thursday. Liv recently commented on losing her extra weight after having Milo; "It’s so hard to lose your baby weight…everyone makes it look like it just drops off." Liv is wearing Milo in a Hip Hammock by Playtex. Hip Hugger in Palmer – unfortunately, they are currently sold out!

that is not a playtex hip hammock.

I found the one she’s wearing.

Anyone know who that other lady is in the pic?

Milo is such a cutie patootie!

I noticed the same thing, Kat – it’s definitely not a Playtex Hip Hammock, because I have one and it doesn’t look as stylish as the HipHugger that Liv’s wearing! I remember from a post a while back that Angelina has this HipHugger, too, in the exact same pattern as Liv.

Do any of you own one of these, and if yes, what do you think of it? Is it comfortable? Easy to use? The Playtex Hip Hammock that I have is okay (better than the original Baby Bjorn, for heavier babies – my daughter is 20 lbs but it’s already hard for me to carry her in the Bjorn!) but I feel so strapped in and confined when I wear the Playtex one. The HipHugger looks better with respect to this, but the strap seems to sit more on your neck than on your shoulder, which doesn’t look very comfortable to me. If anyone has one of these, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

"We weren't trying to have kids. We left it up to fate. I knew there was a possibility, but I was really excited. Even if you are trying, just to see a positive result is shocking!"
