Tom Cruise shared with German TV talk show Wettendass that he and fiance/baby mama Katie Holmes have picked out a name for their any-day-now baby. The purpose of the interview was to promote his movie Mission: Impossible 3. During the interview, Tom said that he arrived directly from the airport but worried he would have to head right back again "because Katie could be having our baby at any minute." He also assured the interviewer that Katie was feeling good.

Knowing them it will probably be something a little different – which i prefer, over the stereotypical names.

So far we have heard Ella Elizabeth for a girl and William Oscar for a boy – i thought these more traditional and think they’ll prob go for something different. Who knows though, Tom’s other kids are Isabella Jane and Connor Antony.

So if they have the name, do they know the sex??

Anyone heard any other names or want to guess what they will call it?

I like the “I want to be with Katie for the birth, if she calls I’m gone” .
Ok Tom, but you’re in Germany, almost 12 hours far from LA, so you can easily miss the birth of the baby…

yeah i was thinking the same thing. unless his plane is going to be flying a million miles an hour, he may very well miss the birth. my labor was 7 hours from start to finish, and i know many people who had only 1-2 hours of labor – with their first baby!

Well I like unisex names for kids.

With his ego I am sure it might be Tom Jr.!

Just so long as the media stops referring to the baby as “Tomkitten”…GAG! I am so over the stupid combination names for celeb couples. It was funny with Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez because of the crazy nature of their relationship and all the frenzied media attention surrounding them, but please already! It was funny once, now it’s just annoying! TomKat, Brangelina, Vaunistan – OMG it’s so annoying and these merged names aren’t even clever…Okay, rant over! lol

I agree the merging of the names are stupid but I find myself going by them all the time!

"We weren't trying to have kids. We left it up to fate. I knew there was a possibility, but I was really excited. Even if you are trying, just to see a positive result is shocking!"
