GMTV’s Kate Garraway, 37, and her husband Derek Draper, a psychotherapist, welcomed their first child on Friday. Daughter Darcey Mary was born at 8:17 am and weighed in at 8 lbs, 3 oz. The couple released a statement that said, "We are both incredibly thrilled and feel very blessed."
Kate recently came under fire in the British press when she was snapped smoking a cigarette late in her pregnancy.
