Geri Halliwell talks about "happy accident" pregnancy and being a single parent
Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, who is expecting her first child next month, has done her first interview since becoming pregnant. She told Hello! Magazine about the baby, who she acknowledges was unplanned, but says that it was a "happy surprise" for her and that she "thanked God" when she found out. "There was not a moment’s doubt about whether this child was wanted. The joy and the gratitude I felt were instant." She and former boyfriend Sacha Gervasi are great friends, but have realized that they’re not meant to be together romantically, so she’ll be a single parent. Her name choices are Stella for a girl, and Leonardo for a boy. She apparently does not know the sex.
