Actress Claudia Black is returning to Stargate SG-1 after giving birth to a baby boy in December. The actress’s character, Vala, will be pregnant due to filming throughout Black’s own pregnancy.
Unlike most producers, who become upset due to their star’s pregnancies, executive producer Robert C. Cooper is ecstatic at the possibility of the storyline, in which Black’s character will give birth to a possible new villain.
