MTV Births!

Set your Tivos!  On Tuesday, February 7th, at 10 pm EST, MTV will be airing the episode of Meet The Barkers when Shanna Moakler goes in for her c-section to deliver baby Alabama.   She will not actually have the baby on-screen due to a recent California law but you get to see "Bama," as Shanna and Travis affectionately call their daughter.

Also, on Monday, February 6th, at 10:30 EST, MTV will air the episode of There & Back, where Ashley Parker Angel and his fiance Tiffany will be having their baby boy, Lyric.

I was under the impression the aforementioned episode was scheduled to air this coming Tuesday. Is something else premiering that’ll knock Meet The Barkers out of their usual time slot? Also, from what I’ve read, Shanna said MTV was not permitted to film the actual birth, regardless of the fact that both Shanna and Travis were both cool with it.

I seen the preview of it. It actually comes on Tuesday. On the preview they show her saying she got her wish and she’s having a baby on christmas eve and they show her and Travis going into the hospital together. She probably didn’t mean there going to show it step by step. Gosh. But they will air her going to hospital and supposedly Alabama also.

I love the name Lyric. I know of someone in the music industry who named their daughter Lyric and it has a very melodic ring to, which I’m sure is exactly the point! My sister’s husband is a musician and they were going to name their baby Harmony if it was a girl, but they ended up with a boy. He’s now a young man and has his own band, so the music genes definitely were passed on to him, even if his name isn’t Harmony. HA! HA!
