Meg Ryan and her newly adopted daughter Charlotte

Mryan012606_01 Mryan012606_03 Update: According to People, the new baby’s name is Charlotte.

Jan 27th: Not sure if the woman with Meg is a personal assistant, nanny, or if the baby is even Meg’s at all, but we’re assuming that it is! In any case, she appears to be between 10-12 months old, and People reported that the baby is a year or under, so seems like it may be her!

She’s a cute little girl. From the baby bottle she’s holding to the way she’s interacting, I’d say that’s Meg’s adopted daughter. :)

She’s cute and probably older than you think. Children in orphanages tend to be smaller and less well nourished than babies raised in home environments. She’ll catch up quickly, tho. If that’s Meg’s daughter, I hope she is carrying and wearing her more and letting others hold her less so they can bond!

my mom’s friend adopted an oriental baby from China and brought her home around 10 months by the time she was a year she was barely sitting up. But by the time she was 18 months she had caught up to be like a normal toddler. That baby is probably about a year. Most baby girls in china are swaddled until they leave the orphanage that’s why they don’t know how to do anything when you get them.
