Colin Meloy, 30, lead singer and songwriter for indie-rockers The Decemberists, and his girlfriend Carson Ellis, an artist, are expecting their first child shortly. No due date was given, although it is thought to be a late winter/early spring arrival.

Wow, Carson Ellis is a great artist…I had no idea this was her boyfriend. I just looked up her biography and found out that she’s done a lot of artwork for the Decemberists…guess I’ll have to check out their albums now!
