Pink marries Motorcross racer Carey Hart

01/08/2006 at 12:32 AM ET

Pink2 Pop star Pink (nee Alecia Moore) married her motorcross racer Carey Hart on Saturday

The couple tied the knot in Costa Rica in front of about 100 guests, including the princess of rock, Lisa Marie Presley.

The ceremony took place on the beach during sunset at the Four Seasons resort.  It was non-denominational ceremony performed by a local officiant. "We just love the beach, so we knew we wanted it to be at the beach," the singer said.

Hart said that he and Pink planned a wedding that would fit their personalities. "We wanted it very fun and non-traditional," he said. " We’re spiritual, but we’re not religious. It was about being with our closest friends and family and having a very fun and loose party."

Tradition is obviously not a trademark for this couple. Pink was the one to propose.  She popped the question this past June during the middle of one of Carey’s races. She held up a sign reading "Will You Marry Me", followed by a second sign stating, "I’m Serious."

"I knew within the first few weeks after meeting her that I wanted to be with her for the rest of my life," Carey said.

The couple plans to spend their honeymoon snowboarding with their four dogs.

Mom Said It

"I had to make a decision that I could sleep with every night. I did feel responsible for the young girls who I probably confused and let down. I apologize for that. But I wasn't trying to glamorize teen pregnancy."
