Reese Witherspoon to take a year off?

Friends have told Star magazine that Reese Witherspoon is planning to take a year off from acting in order to be with her kids full-time.  According to the friends, she’d still work for her and Ryan Phillippe‘s production company, Type A Films, three days a week.  However, Reese’s spokesperson denies this saying, "there is no break" and that Reese will be producing and acting in the movie Penelope.  Perhaps the friend meant after Penelope?
