Twin Belgian princes!

Princess Claire of Belgium gave birth to twin boys last night at the Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc in Brussels. They were delivered by C-section and arrived a month before the January due date. The first boy was born at 6.54 pm, weighed 1.980 kg and measured 44cm, his brother arrived a minute later, weighed 2.210 kg and measured 45.5cm.

The princes are the second and third child to prince Laurent and princess Claire. The couple already has a daughter, Louise, who will be two next February. Rumour has it that the new Belgian princes will be named Emeric and Nicolas, but there is no official confirmation of this news. The children and their mother are said to be doing well, but there is no news on whether the twins are in an incubator. Also, it is not yet known whether the twins are fraternal or identical.

Dad Said It

"Harper was a name that we've loved for a long time for a couple of reasons. Harper is an old English name, and Victoria's favorite book is To Kill a Mockingbird."
