Christina Applegate and husband file for divorce

After four years of marriage, Christina Applegate, 34, and her husband Johnathon Schaech, 36, are divorcing.  Johnathon filed for divorce in Los Angeles on Monday citing irreconcilable differences; their publicist released a statement confirming the split and said that "the decision is mutual" and the couple has "no further comment at this time." 

Christina is perhaps best known for her role on the television show Married… With Children and currently stars in Broadway’s Sweet Charity.  Jonathon is in pre-production with the film Road House 2: Last Call.

Personally, I don’t post splits unless children are involved, but Danielle allows engagements, marriages, and splits to be posted on CBB, so some of our contributors do post on those topics.

I remember a post awhile back that also explained very well the reasoning behind posting subjects like this, but I tried to find it and I can’t. It was something to the effect of “one short post explaining the initial split, but no follow-up posts.”
It’s just good to know that everyone at CBB is so “up” on breaking news! We <3 your hard work! ;-)
