TomKat wedding date set

According to the Sun, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have finally set the date for their nuptials- October 21, 2006 in Beverly Hills, CA, but JustJared is reporting that "doomsday" is July 7, 2006 based on their gift registry at Neiman Marcus. (Items range from a $6.99 washcloth to a $430 coffee pot.) 

Guests expected to attend the wedding of Katherine Holmes and Thomas Mapother include David and Victoria Beckham, Oprah Winfrey, and fellow Scientologists John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston.

being the loser that i am, i checked out said registry at neiman marcus — which lists the wedding date as june 26, 2006 in dania beach, florida. is someone just trying to pull a fast one?!?!

why is it everytime someone finds a celebrity “registry” there are people that actually believe it to be real? do we normal folks honestly believe the elite celeb is going to have a public registry? come on – for once can we just be real here and go “oh, some lame idiot created this in their name, moving on”…
