Is the TomKitten a boy?

11/28/2005 at 06:31 PM ET

Katie Holmes was spotted buying blue baby clothes at the Beverly Hills Petit Bateau recently, revealing that she and fiance Tom Cruise are expecting a boy.

According to friends, they are planning to name the baby William Oscar and had picked out Ella Elizabeth prior to learning the gender of the baby. (Coincidentally, Tom has an actor cousin named William Mapother- who recently appeared on Lost.)

Still no confirmation on the baby’s ETA but we estimate that Katie is at least 6 months along.

I heard it was a boy about a month or so ago on the radio. I don’t mind the names atleast they are normal. But if it’s a girl Tom’s gonna have a Bella and an ella? *shrugs*

According to Barbara Walters, Katie is 6 months along, so I would take that as confirmation. They wasted no time. Still strange.

Seriously, anything I hear about Tom lately, just makes me worried for this child (not to mention sick to my stomach) Does anyone else notice that he is the only one talking about the wedding, the baby etc and the only response Katie has is “amazing” she’s either been brain washed or it isnt vitimins Tom’s talking about.

"I had to make a decision that I could sleep with every night. I did feel responsible for the young girls who I probably confused and let down. I apologize for that. But I wasn't trying to glamorize teen pregnancy."
