As we reported here last month, Australian Rugby Union legend Phil Kearns’ daughter was rushed to hospital in a critical condition after he accidentally run over her in the driveway of their Sydney home. 19 month old Andie has finally been taken off life support three weeks after the accident. There are also plans for her to leave intensive care. A spokesperson for the Sydney Children’s Hospital has said, "Andie is now breathing on her own, is active, aware of what is going on around her and has been interacting with her parents and family." Phil and his wife Julie, who have three other children: Wilson, Finn and Matilda; have been keeping a bedside vigil by their daughter for the past 21 days.
