Liza103054An influx of CBB readers have emailed to tell us that the Conan O’Brien show has been cancelled tonight. Conan’s wife Liza is in labor or has given birth to their second child and first son, which are obviously taking first priority tonight.

Update: An anonymous source has emailed us, saying that his son was in fact born early this evening. We are hoping for a press release or announcement on his show tomorrow.

A second update: Beckett O’Brien was born at 8:27 last night in New York City. Weighing in at 8lbs, 4oz, he joins big sister Neve, 2.

I Wonder if he’ll come out with hair like his dads.

I’m so excited for them! It’s funny because on the show that was taped November 8, Conan said Liza was due “any second now” and he sure was right about that! Can’t wait to hear his name!

As unusual as it might be, one other celeb couple recently named their son Beckett – The Dixie Chicks’ Natalie Maines and her husband Adrian Pasdar welcomed Beckett Finn 7-22-04…..he joined big brother Jackson Slade, aka “Slade”….
