Jamie Lee Curtis chooses motherhood over acting

Actress Jamie Lee Curtis, known for her recent roles in Freaky Friday and Christmas with the Kranks, says she would rather spend time with her family than to pursue her acting career.

"My life is so filled, so if I accept acting work now, it means I have to let somebody else do the job I want to, which is rise my children." Jamie Lee told Access Hollywood.

"I write books for a children, and I’m a photographer," she added.

Her children’s books include, "It’s Hard to Be Five: Learning How to Work My Control Panel" and  "Today I feel Silly: And Other Moods That Make My Day."

Jamie Lee has two children ,Annie, 18, and Tom, 9 with her husband since 1984, director Christopher Guest.
