Of course, that big, fat paycheck has nothing to do with it. “Oh, I’m bored, I think I go make a movie and score a few million. The ole’ bank account is getting low these days.” LOL!

I have always liked Gwyneth and I’m not going to say anything overtly negative, but it just seems to me that she has adopted a strong elitist attitude since Apple’s birth. I know she loves her daughter and is proud of her and she relishes her role as mother, but she appears to analyze and justify everything she does, and all the choices she makes as a mother, in a way that has a bit of a “superior” tone to it. I think it really puts a lot of people off.

i agree. gwyneth contradicts herself constantly and feels the need to play out her internal conflicts in public. for example, she was going to stop working when apple was born because she wanted to follow in her mother’s footsteps and made it seem as if that were the only choice for a “good mother.” however, now, she is working pretty steadily again so she’s saying, that’s what’s best for apple. how about: it’s everyone’s personal choice and just feel confident enough to do what you feel best without letting the whole world know. i find it funny that gwyneth always says how private she is and yet it seems like every other week the public gets another comment from her relaying her very private feelings toward her personal life and being a mother. and yes, they do often seem elitist only because more often than not they are such black and white comments, she’s so extreme which is most likely due to the fact that she is so young.

Didn’t she first say that she’d stop working to take care of Apple? Ughh, whatever, Gwyn. No one really cares whether your words and acts match; no need to justify it constantly.

Has anyone heard if there is any truth to the rumour that she’s expecting baby number 2? Apparently, Blythe spilled the beans at a recent Hollywood event by accident.
