Jennifer Garner has reportedly invited Victor Garber, her Alias TV dad, to be present in the delivery room as a backup Lamaze coach when she gives birth. According to an insider, Ben does not do very well in hospitals.
"Jen’s terrified of childbirth, but she’s braver than Ben," a source says. " She wants Victor there for moral support."
Victor was the only guest at the couple’s wedding, so his presence at the birth makes sense.

She must have a very close relationship with VG. I think that’s sweet!! But, he wasn’t just a guest at their wedding, he married them, didn’t he?

It is nice that Jennifer and Victor are so close that she would want to share such a special time with him, but I can’t help but wonder why she doesn’t have either her parents or her sisters. Oh well, totally her call.

That is sweet! However, where are Jen’s parents?? I never hear anything about them. Are they still living?? Does she have a relationship with them?? Why wouldn’t her mom be there with her?? Forgive me if they are estranged or something, I just wondered!

tink1217, I’ve been wondering about her parents, too. she has spoken about being very close to her mother and sisters, but I haven’t heard anything about her dad. I think he is still living, though. Maybe their relationship isn’t terribly close. Also, I did hear her say on the Ellen show something about Ben calling her mother to beg her to come out for the birth….I don’t know, it is possible they aren’t happy with having Ben as a son-in-law…
