10/18/2005 at 05:06 PM ET

Juliakitchen Julia Roberts recently posed for the cover and inside spread of the October issue of Vitals Woman Magazine with her twins Hazel and Phinnaeus. In the article, she confirmed that she is still nursing her (now) almost 11 month old twins, and talked about her casual and laidback living style since her babies have been born.

I love love love her!!!

why is it that celebs won’t let you see their kids faces, but they don’t have any problem showing off their little butts?

I like the layout of the photo.

I like the photos, but yeah, the way she has it so that the twins are facing away from the camera, shielding their faces, doesn’t make any sense. She showed them off in People already!

I don’t know. Whatever. They are nice photos still.

Just read the article — very refreshing. She seems to lead a very normal life. My mother-in-law met her ranch manager while in New Mexico recently, and he had nothing but raves for Julia and Danny and their down-to-earth lifestyle. One minor correction: In the article, the twins are only about 8 months old.

I love love love her too! She looks amazing! Her babies are so precious, faces or butts or both. I’m also so impressed that she is going to nurse them for the recommended full year. Good for her!

No Kim, the article is correct. The twins were born on November 28th, which means they will be 11 months old next Friday, October 28.

Oops, sorry Kim. I just read what you wrote more carefully, and you are right, the article is wrong, sorry🙂

Sorry for the confusion! What I meant is that they’re almost 11 months old now, but when the interview was done & the photos taken they were around 8 months old.

Sorry for the confusion! What I meant is that they’re almost 11 months old now, but when the interview was done & the photos taken they were around 8 months old. The only reason I point it out at all is b/c that based on this article, Julia was nursing 8-month olds not 11-month olds.

I love the photos (the diaper cover is too cute) and I’m thrilled to hear that she’s nursing her twins. However, I’m a little saddened by the “still” part of the comment, its recommended for at least a year or two (depending on your sorce).

As for not showing their faces, I think that there is a big difference betweem a newborn and an 11 months old (or 8 months old). Or maybe it was just the look the photographer wanted. Either way, gorgeous photos – Julia has never looked more beautiful. Love her & those precious babies!

why do we care that their faces aren’t shown? just because she might do a photoshot including them, doesn’t mean she wants their faces to be everywhere (i know she did a shoot for people) as they age… some people would rather keep their kids on the lowdown… HOWEVER, the intention of the shoot could have just been on HER and not the focus of having her childrens faces in the shoot.. just HER with the kids.. ahhh.. sometimes nothing is good enough here!

Sorry for the confusion on the babies age – I was referring to their current age, not when their age when the photos were shot.🙂 I should have been clearer.

And I made the ‘still’ comment because I think it’s impressive that she’s still nursing twins – I imagine that it’s a lot of work.
