CBB reader spots Armstrong kids in Austin

CBB reader Maria lives in Austin, TX, and emails us a sighting of Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong and his kids, along with Sheryl Crow. She writes: 

I live in Austin Tx, and on Sunday Oct 2nd, Lance Armstrongthrew a huge outdoor concert for the city to thankthem for supporting him during his career. His fianceeSheryl Crow was the headliner, of course! Anyway, they were very sweet and loving with eachother on stage and smooched many times.

His threechildren were also there on stage for the whole showand it is very obvious that  Luke, Isabella, andGrace adore Sheryl, especially Grace who spent thewhole show next to Sheryl on stage. She was untanglingmicrophone cords, dancing, sitting on the edge of thestage at the front and at one point even grabbed themicrophone and started singing mid song. Sheryl was sopatient and encouraged her to stay up there and joinin the show.  Isabella, on the other hand, was very shyand spent most of the time clinging to her dad. Theywere both in their new pink party dresses which theyhad bought earlier in the day, according to Sheryl.They also had a ton of little friends with them.

 In Maria’s photos, Gracie is wearing the darker pink dress, while Isabella has the lighter pink on.

I’m not going to say anything negative about their relationship, but the one I feel badly for is Kristin Armstrong. She stood beside Lance through his cancer ordeal and bore him three children. She is the director for Fertile Hope and is a champion at assisting cancer survivors and their families with fertility issues. She was also a champion when it came to her husband and family, a family he walked away from. It just makes me sad that such a beautiful lady was not valued as she should have been.

I agree completely with Melissa’s sentiments! I am not a big fan of either Lance or Sheryl.

I’m not impressed either. Lance goes on and on about how the stress of living in Europe, learning new languages, being on the bike,yadda,yadda,yadda, screwed his marriage up. And then he goes off and hooks up with Sheryl, a rock star. Uh, I think that there will be some stress there,dude.
I hope that Kristin got a nice fat divorce settlement after all she put up with(read Lance’s own autobiography to see how much she actually took from him and for him)
On somehwat of a side note, I wondered why Lance and Kristin really split. Somehow I don’t think the stess that he spoke of was the true reason.

whatever the reason for their divorce, people should get their facts straight about lance and kristin. they met AFTER he finished his chemotherapy and were married the same year he started riding for the postal service team.

if i remember correctly the woman we should feel sorry for is the one who lance was dating during the whole cancer treatment and later broke up with, but her name escapes me at the moment.
