She is REALLY showing! How far along is she? I was thinking she was supposed to have a “near Christmas” baby, but that would mean she is only around six months. She looks farther along than that. She looks really cute pregnant.

Melissa-I believe they said she was due sometime between late November or December. I thought she was due sometime near Thanksgiving.

I don’t know for sure – but isn’t it a little late in her pregnancy to be traveling? I thought you shouldn’t travel by plane after the 7th month. But I’ve never been pregnant – so I am probably wrong.

Wow. She really has a heidi klum type belly on her now!

One of the entertainment news shows recently said she is due around Xmas, but I had thought her due date was in November. Maybe they are putting the Xmas due date out there to throw the press off?

As for flying, I think it’s okay to fly until 35 weeks or so. But maybe someone else knows for sure.

My doctor didn’t want me flying past 28 weeks for fear of going into premature labor. Perhaps when you fly on a private jet and go into early labor, you can land anywhere you need to for medical intervention. Maybe they are hanging out on the East Coast now until the baby arrives? Who knows. Maybe her doctor is more lenient than mine.

I got the impression from her Ellen interview that she was giving birth in LA. She said that Ben had to call her mother and convince her to fly out from West Virginia.

She would probably have much more privacy giving birth in Boston though.

If she is still filming Alias episodes that’s why the choice to stay in LA. Also, the guidelines might have changed recently, but I found out that a few years back ACOG said it’s safe for most pregnant women to fly domestically until 36 weeks. So that’s why she’s still flying– but in a far more comfy private jet I’m sure🙂
