ABC Sports Michele Tafoya expecting first child

ABC Sports reporter Michele Tafoya is expecting her first child on November 28th, the American Sportscasters Association web site reports. During her maternity leave (which will begin next week), her role as the sideline reporter for Monday Night Football will be covered by her ABC colleague, Samantha Ryan.

Michele is very well-known in the sports broadcasting community; some of her career highlights include being the first female analyst to call a UNC-Charlotte men’s basketball game and working as a reporter for the Minnesota Vikings and at CBS. Michele currently resides in Minnesota with her husband, Mark.
