Not too legit to quit- MC Hammer welcomes a son

Hip-hop minister and former baggy pants-wearer MC Hammer and his wife, Stephanie, proved they are not too legit to quit when Stephanie recently gave birth to a premature baby boy. "He’s two pounds now, and his name is Samuel," Hammer told Jawn Murray, AOL Black Voices columnist during the Tom Joyner Family Reunion. "He’s in intensive care. We have to go see him and speak life to him and help him grow spiritually," explained the rapper.

MC and Stephanie have 5 other children. He said, "family means everything to me. Without family you’re absolutely nothing. There’s no one to share your joys with, nobody to pass anything down to. A man who comes home to no family is a lonely man," he offered.
