Australian tennis sensation Lleyton Hewitt is aware that life on the international tennis circuit will change when he’s be joined by his new wife former TV star Bec Cartwright and their baby which is due in October. Lleyton plans on having his family join him at most events next year and while he is looking forward to the experience he isn’t sure how that is going to affect his career.
Appearing at this week’s US Open Lleyton has been given advice by other tennis Dad’s such as Tim Henman and Andre Agassi and former Australian Davis Cup captain John Newcombe. Tim, a father of two, Rose and new baby Olivia, has said that his wife and daughter travel with him to a third of events, "It’s something you have to learn to adapt to, the lack of sleep, the waking-up … Sometimes, it’s not the easiest if you’re travelling with them in hotels and airports, but it’s a nice problem to be having."
