Great news for Sherri Shepherd fans

Longtime CBB readers may remember our previous posts on actress Sherri Shepherd’s extremely premature baby boy, Jeffrey Charles, who was born at 25 weeks back in April. We are happy to announce that he finally went home two weeks ago, after months in the neonatal intensive care unit. Sherri did not comment on her son’s current health conditions (there was initially concern about possible physical and mental disabilities due to the early birth), but did say, with a laugh, "I think I did too much running around when I was pregnant because Jeffrey made his appearance very early." Now that her son is home, Sherri will be back on the entertainment circuit again, with appearances at the BET Comedy Awards and hosting duties for ‘A-List Celebrity Bloopers’ on September 15th.

Its good to know he’s out of the hospital and at home. But I hope he turns out to be very healthy and very happy.

I am so happy to hear he is home. I felt terrible when I initially heard about his premature birth /possible miscarriage. She seems like such a sweet person and I hope her son’s health continues to improve. God bless her and her family.
