Ronan Keating's golf win interrupted by a trip to the labor ward

by auditioning contributor Kirrily

Former Boyzone star Ronan Keating had just made the winning putt at the first All Star Cup celebrity golf tournament in Wales on Sunday only to find out that his wife was being rushed to hospital in Dublin for the birth of their third child. However, it was announced today on Ronan’s official website that the dash to the labour ward was a false alarm and that Yvonne is back home and still eagerly awaiting the birth.  Ronan is quoted as saying, "Both Yvonne and the baby are doing fine, it’s a waiting game now, the baby is due any day."

Ronan married Irish model Yvonne Connelly in 1998 and the couples two kids are Jack, 6, and Marie, 4. Ronan, 28, announced that the baby will be called Ryder, whether it’s a girl or a boy – but that could have been a golf joke – the tournament he was playing was a Ryder Cup-style match.

Dad Said It

"Harper was a name that we've loved for a long time for a couple of reasons. Harper is an old English name, and Victoria's favorite book is To Kill a Mockingbird."
