A Poet for Punky

Former Punky Brewster star Soleil Moon Frye, 29, and her husband, Jason Goldberg, 34, welcomed their first child today in LA. Daughter Poet Sienna Rose Goldberg, was born at 2:20 am in Los Angeles and weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz; she was 19 inches long.

Mom and baby girl are "doing wonderfully" and resting comfortably, says a friend of the couple.

I am so happy for soleil, and husband jeff, I thought she would have choosen a more normal name, but her name is soleil after all, so i’m not that surprised.I’m sure their daughter is beautiful.

congrats to her….Poet is a bit unusual but now a days with celebs its to be expected. Sienna happens to be my top girls name. Ava was one of them but not anymore since everyone in their mother is named Ava or Lola lol!

I’m so happy to hear that both are doing well. I actually like the name, it’s not a usual name and considering the unique names of her and her brothers. She’s just like her mother Sondra in picking names with meanings, even if they are unusual. LOL. I can’t wait to see pictures.

Ever since I heard of the actress America Ferrerra I am really digging America for a girls name! I am a person who likes different names but nothing that could possibly damage my childs self esteem in school. Parents must think of the long term effects but when your a celebrity’s kid the likely hood of you being unpopular is probably slim to none

I love the name ..my sister named her kids
Ashtyn and the other shay both girls we got alot of what are their names?? But I love poet thats a lovely name!But I think she sealed her fate .shes going ot be in show business,,lol
