Britney and Kevin to move to Arizona?

Rumors are swirling around Phoenix that Britney and Kevin are looking to buy a home in the Scottsdale/Paradise Valley area. In light of this development, the Arizona Republic printed a column with advice for the family on how they can best “fit in” with their neighbors. If you scroll down the article there is a section on tips for the baby, including suggestions for clothes and preschool. The article also states that local “medical insiders” have confirmed that Brittney will be giving birth at Scottsdale Healthcare Shear.  (I gave birth to my son at this hospital last September and I had such a positive experience!)

While I can understand WHY Brittney may want to deliver somewhere other than LA, if you’re having a baby typically you want to be as close to your OB as possible. Furthermore, after 36 weeks (give or take) you can go into labor at any moment and usually by this point doctors advise against traveling. In addition, most women are having weekly OB appointments. If she goes into labor will she a hop a plane to Phoenix? Are plans underway for her to spend the last weeks of her pregnancy in Arizona? These questions have me wondering if this is all just rumor.

Didn’t it say in People magazine that she’s already scheduled a c-section in Scottsdale? I’m sure it’s scheduled a couple of weeks before her actual due date, so the odds of her going into labor before that are pretty small. I’m kind of suprised, I thought she would have tried to go the natural route of childbirth. I’m not suprised that they are shopping for a house in Scottsdale if that’s where they plan to have the baby.

I have a subscription to People and I haven’t read anything about her having a c-section…? From what I had read previously, she wanted to try natural childbirth. The only thing I can think of is that maybe she has a planned induction scheduled?

I was wrong, it’s in this week’s US Weekly. It says “Spears has her entire birth mapped out, and has signed on for a planned cesarean section.” Of course, it also says that Kevin has been voted Husband of the Year by GQ Magazine, so who knows. I guess we’ll find out soon enough.

Hmmmm I would agree… rumor this must be. These ‘requirements’ of Brit seem to be of J-Lo proportions! Must be a slow news week on the Spears front.
