Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster picking out boy names

Model Penny Lancaster has dropped not-so-subtle hints that she and fiancée, rocker Rod Stewart, are expecting a baby boy in December. The mom-and-dad-to-be have been toying with male names, though they claim they don’t wish to know the sex of their unborn baby.

ThiThe child’s middle name will be Wallace, the name of Lancaster’s deceased grandfather. First names The couple is toying with include Frankie, Jimmy, and Georgie, which Lancaster says are currently just "nicknames" for their little one. She also says she really doesn’t want to know if it’s a boy or girl, because she’d rather it be a "surprise."

The outlook for a second child looks promising, as well. Says Lancaster, "We are keen to have two kids together quite quickly."

The couple plan to marry in France next summer.

I just don’t get why it’s not a surprise just because you found out on the ultrasound. You still didn’t know before that, right? So why does people say we want to be surprised? When they see it on the ultrasound, then “Surprise, it’s a boy” or “Surprise, it’s a girl”. Anyone agree?

I liked not knowing what the sex was of either one of my kids. After all that pain of labour… getting that thrill from the doctor holding up my new child was amazing.
