For Cerys Matthew, former singer of Welsh band Catatonia, that is a true statement as of July 17, 2005, per her official website. She gave birth to her second child, Johnny Natchez Jones Riddle, in her kitchen of her Nashville home. She credits the pressure change due to Hurricane Dennis for bringing her labor along.  Both Cerys and her husband, Seth Riddle, who is a music producer are thrilled.  Johnny joins big sister, Glyns Pearly-Felin, who turned two this month.

Johnny weighing in at 6 lbs 7oz, was born following the Stereophonics concert Cerys was at earlier. The name Jones is after her countryman Tom Jones, who Cerys dueted with on "Baby, It’s Cold Outside."

Cerys is currently working on songs for her next record. She hopes to have the record finished by the end of the year and then return home to Wales. Meanwhile, she is enjoying the new addition to her family.

Mom Said It

"I had to make a decision that I could sleep with every night. I did feel responsible for the young girls who I probably confused and let down. I apologize for that. But I wasn't trying to glamorize teen pregnancy."
