Ed and Coupling star Rena Sofer, 36, and her husband, director Sanford Bookstaver, 31, "are elated with the arrival of their baby girl, Avalon Leone Bookstaver…Mother and baby are wonderful…The whole family is thrilled." Avalon was born in Los Angeles at 5 a.m. on Aug. 5, and weighed 8 lbs. 14 oz, and joins half sister Rosabel Rosalind, who will be 8 next month.

yeah – I actually think Avalon is cute and since Ava is so popular I wouldn’t shorten it or nickname her.
