Novelist couple expecting first baby

Nicole Krauss, and her husband, Jonathan Safran Foer, are expecting their first child, said to be due the last week of January.

Fans of his books Everything is Illuminated and Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close will be disappointed that he has cancelled his Inprint Brown Reading Series appearance on January 23rd at the Alley Theatre. No word if Nicole, whose The History of Love was published in June, will be cancelling appearances.
