Starting today, we are switching over to a new type of comment protocol that uses TypeKey, which is a comment authentication service. It’s a way for commenters to be accountable for their comments.
For those of you who are worried about your privacy, let me assure you that TypeKey is a completely pseudonymous system meaning that no personally identifying information is required to use it – except for your email address but it doesn’t have to be your primary email address. It does mean that you can’t use a bogus email address if you want to comment.
