Correction on most recent Angelina post

Earlier this afternoon, it was announced that Angelina Jolie is only giving media information regarding her new daughter Zahara to People Magazine. This comes on the heels of Us Weekly incorrectly reporting that the child being adopted was a boy, and that Brad Pitt was the adoptive father, and Star Magazine running a photo of a woman said to be the child’s grandmother, and quotes with information about the child. Angelina is said to be frustrated by the misinformation being circulated.Through Angelina’s rep, and the orphanage that Zahara was adopted from, a statement was released by People stating that, “The photo is not the woman who they claim it is, and the quotes are fabricated.”In truth, Zahara has just been released from a weeklong stay in an NYC hospital, after being treated for dehydrated and malnutrition. She is now doing well, and she and Angelina have bonded. She has no living siblings, her father is unknown, and it is assumed that her mother died of AIDS a month after the birth.I’m sure many of the details about the orphanage, etc, are correct, but just be clear on the fact that the photo and quotes are not.

How awful to knowingly pass on misinformation about an ORPHAN for crying out loud! I can’t blame Angelina for being ticked. She is doing a wonderful thing, I hope the little one continues to improve and is happy and healthy!

well, all of her daughter’s personal information belongs to her. I’m sure Angelina was just trying to control what information was published about her daughter.

yeah I posted this on the other angelina topic. I new it was fabricated it just didn’t seem realistic. It’s sad that someone is always trying to take something good and put words in peoples mouths just to get a story *smh*

It was reported in People that the baby’s mother died right after giving birth to her and it is untrue that either of her parents had AIDS.

I posted what People reported on their website yesterday-that the father is unknown, and that the mother is assumed to have died from AIDs a month after the baby’s birth. Here is the link:
