Sharon Stone denies leaving son in car for hours

06/22/2005 at 07:36 AM ET

Sharonstone_150x208_1 Sharon Stone wants to end reports that she left her 5-year-old son, Roan, idling in a car for two hours while she had dinner last week. British papers claimed she left a sleeping Roan with her chauffeur while she had a late-night dinner.

Sharon’s rep argues that the boy was in the car for "maybe two minutes, not two hours. Roan did come into the restaurant, but Sharon had someone bring him out to the car before her, to avoid paparazzi." No word on how this will affect the current custody battle being fought over Roan. Stone’s rep declined comment, and Phil Bronstein didn’t return calls.

I believe her…can’t imagine she would have left him there for 2 hours and no one say anything? common stretched truth a bit I think!

That sounds a lot more believible. I couldn’t believe she would leave him for 2 hrs in a car. Goes to show how much something can be stretched by the media.

Mom Said It

"It helps that other moms had said that once they had their babies, they forgot they were ever pregnant. So once my focus became the baby and not the pregnancy, it was a very easy decision."
