Life & Style Magazine is hosting a contest based on their exclusive coverage of Extra host Dayna Devon’s baby shower. I am sorry, but it’s really tacky to advertise all the “loot” you have received as gifts. If the newspaper found out on its own and reported it, fine, but to actually invite them to show off the loot is really mercenary and tasteless. You would never display wedding or birthday gifts like that, so why is it different when the gifts are cute little baby booties?

BTW, I am not criticizing the post, which is simply reporting some news.

What I don’t understand is that the article made it sound as if she threw the baby shower for herself. If that’s true then that’s extremely tacky, not to mention bad etiquette. But I guess celebrities can do whatever they want.

But don’t magazines do this all the time? Take pictures of someone’s baby shower? Nusery? I remember in US Weekly, they had pictures of Rebecca & Bob (He was off the Bachlor shows)’s engagment party or something, and there were pictures of their presents. I think some people do this just to stay in the media somehow!
