Keanu Reeves taken off the market

Hunky Matrix star Keanu Reeves has been taken off the market as he reportedly married fiance actress Autumn Macintosh in a secret ceremony in LA last month.

A source told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: "Keanu and Autumn wanted something really low-key so opted for a quiet civil ceremony with only family and friends. They don’t like causing a fuss. It was at a small restaurant in Los Angeles and was very simple and chic."

They dated for a little over a year after rekindling their romance 10 years after they first dated. Keanu allegedly proposed to Autumn just 3 months after they started dating again.

A source said at the time: "Commitment is a huge deal to Keanu. They have known each other for years. Over the last few months Keanu started thinking about settling down."

Though his movie career has prospered, Keanu has experienced some really bad times in recent years. Five years ago, then girlfriend, Jennifer Syme, gave birth to the couple’s still-born baby, before being killed in a car accident a year later, while Keanu’s sister, Kim, has been battling Leukaemia for several years.

How does this marriage bode for babies?  As Keanu is 40 and Autumn is 39, if they are planning to have kids, they might start soon!

Oh well… Not that I don’t wish him luck, but he’s been dating actress Lynn Collins (they were shooting a movie in Chicago together last month) and they seem to be pretty much in love. So I guess, Autumn’s not the one who gets him. It might be Lynn though (but I really don’t mean to start another rumor). Btw, Lynn’s 28, so…

I just saw on Extra that this is false and he didn’t get married. I get so confused listening to celeb gossip I never know which is right. Extra said his reps said this unless they’re lying.

That’s weird, just saw in US magazine (not that US is always correct!) that he is dating an actress he recently starred in a film with. The photos of the two looked pretty lovey-dovey. Pretty sure her name wasn’t Autumn.

I thought the baby he had with Jennifer Syme was 8-9 months old when she died. If you look at findagrave.com and dearch Jennifer Symes, their baby Ava was alive for 8 months, she wasnt stillborn.

Its hard to believe anything you read anymore. =/ If it IS true, I wish them both all the happiness in the world – I cannot fathom losing a child, and then her mother in such tragic ways so close together. Good Luck and God Bless them both.

Yeah, he’s actually dating a woman named Lynn.

Keanu actually has a pretty painful past with women and kids…his longtime girlfriend Jennifer Syme and he were expecting a daughter, and she was stillborn (or died when she was 8 months along, something close to that) than a couple years lately, Jennifer died in a car accident. He’s dealt with a lot of loss.

Sandra, the baby was born dead. Jennifer was 8 months pregnant. The baby was no longer moving around so they did an ultrasound and discovered that the baby had died in utero. They induced her and she delivered their stillborn daughter. The baby never survived outside the womb. Star magazine actually took pictures of her grave several years ago (very tacky), and the grave does not mention a birth date or a death date, just the year and her name.

Jennifer was a week or so from delivering Ava. There was a blood clot in the cord, and the baby died in womb. Jennifer was just shy of being 9 mo. pregnant. So, the baby was 9 mo. in utero…not 9 mo. living. And, Jennifer died 1 yr. later. So sad!!! I really feel for all that he has gone thru.

I hope this is true. He deserves some happiness in life. He’s had a pretty rough last few years. I absolutely love him. So what if he isn’t the best actor around, haha. He seems like a really great guy. Definitely not like a bunch of the other Hollywood types. Congrats to him if it’s true!

Well whether it’s true or not, I hope he’s happy. He really deserves happiness in his life. I mean he lost his baby, then he lost her mother. He might lose his sister Kim (who he’s extremely close to) to Leukemia. She’s been battling it for more than 10 years. I pray all the time that she does not die. How much bad luck can he take? I really want him to be happy and have lots of babies! He is my favorite actor. I adore him and have adored him for years.

Like a few said, his baby was stillborn at 8 months, dies in utero and had to be induced, which has got to be so hard for parents to have to go through the whole delivery thing knowing they won’t have the joyous ending (Medical people say it’s necessary to do it this way, becuase surgery not only is hard on the mom, but there’s some chemical/hormonal thing that makes it necessary so the body accepts that the baby is gone.)A cousin had to do this, and for some reason, she couldn’t have pain meds either, it had to be natural. And in a recent GH, a dad describes having to endure this with their first child. Fortunately my cousin delivered a healthy baby girl a year later, they already had boys age 5 and 7. I had always hoped these 2 would have another, then was sad to hear she’d died, but Keanu said at the time, at least she’d be with their girl. I could see him being married, he’s a very quiet guy, it wasn’t widely known his baby was coming until the tragedy. I hope he is, he seems like a guy that deserves a happy ending, and I hope they deliver sometime soon,and that Kim is around to be an auntie.

The baby was stillborn in Dec 1999. Jennifer and Keanu broke up before she discovered she was pregnant, but he was going to be part of the baby’s life. Jennifer died in April 2001. She drove down the wrong side of the road, sideswiped several parked cars and her car flipped several times. She was not wearing a seatbelt and died in a pretty gruesome manner. She had been at a party at Marilyn Manson’s house the night before, and someone drove her to get her car and she was on her way back to Manson’s house when the accident occured about 6 am. She was legally drunk, and high on cocaine and amphetamines. Her mom blamed Manson, saying he provided her with the drugs and encouraged her to drive in her condition. She and Manson were good friends for several years before her death. Very sad.

There was speculation that she was suicidal, had never gotten past the grief. They had worked out a nice relationship for co-parenting, and even though they weren’t a couple, he still cared for her, and was devastated about her death as well.Hope this is some good news for him for a change. Remember, he’d gotten close to River Phoenix too just before he OD’d, when they were in that last movie together. I know it’s just acting, but the way he played it in Parenthood, I thought he might be good with the little ones.

This news is entirely fabricated… his publicist issued a statement today saying it was false and that he’s not married.

besides… Keanu is dating Lynn Collins, not Autumn MacIntosh. If Keanu’s exchanging vows with anyone soon, it would be Lynn (not to start rumors of course, but they do seem very in love)… regardless, as a HUGE fan of him, I wish him the best and I really hope he finally finds some happiness in his life, which has been rehashed in the comments above.

Oh I hope he makes another baby too. His babies would be so cute! I always wonder what Ava would have looked like. She’d be 5 years old now. I read a 2004 (or 2003) interview with Keanu in Details magazine and he talked briefly about the baby. He said “When people say ‘Things happen for a reason’ That really sticks in my craw.” (I guess it bothers him to hear that). I think he really misses Ava and Jen a lot. I’m really rooting for him to have another baby soon. I’ve been hoping that for a while. It would bring him much needed joy.
