A child’s birthday should always be shared by both parents. Don’t overdo the party with all that jazz, mom and dad and a cake is just fine. Happy Birthday Apple

I want to know her real name. I do not believe she is really called ‘Apple’, she is too cute and precious for a silly name like that.

“vegan chocolate cheesecake?” That is so sad! At least let the girl have some sugary junk on her first birthday! If you can’t indulge then, then when? :-)

hey, don’t knock it ’till you try it…

My daughter just celebrated her first b-day with a big piece of sugary cake. She hadn’t it before or since. Gwen needs to lighten up. I also don’t let her have sugar but her b-day I let her have fun (sigh).

Vegan doesn’t mean it had no sugar. It means it consisted of no animal products (milk, eggs, etc.) Probably mostly soy.

It’s hard to believe she’s already a year old. Her cake sounded yummy – she’s a lucky girl to have parents who are devoted to giving her a healthy start in life.

It’s so cool that Gywn and Chris are keeping her 1st birthday party simple, not an all-out hoo ha like Victoria and David Beckham-not that there’s somthing against the latter.

Aww, I think it’s great that Apple’s parents want her to be healthy – I wish my parents had done that, and I know that a lot more parents should be doing that.
