Well, we've got one 05-05-05 baby!

05/13/2005 at 06:31 PM ET

Former Poison lead singer and Pam Anderson sex video costar Bret Michaels and his longtime partner Kristi welcomed second daughter Jorja Bleu at 12:43 am on May 5th. She was 6 lbs, 8 ozs, and 19 3/4 inches long. Big sister Raine Elizabeth turns five this month.

They ask that if you would like to send gifts, please visit BabyStyle and/or mail them to the address provided here. (I think this is a bit tacky, but perhaps someone wants to send something! At least they’re providing the info.)

Thanks to Caitlin for the link!

I found this a bit tacky when I checked out his website, too. I think Kristi is his girlfriend, though. I don’t believe they got married. But, I know stars get lots of junk from people all the time, so maybe they thought they would just make it easier on themselves? Anyway, cool as heck birthdate!

now that’s one hell of a birthday to have on a passport

I think that is a bit tacky. I really admire the celebs that tell everyone instead of sending gifts to donate to certain charities. Amanda Tapping (Stargate SG-1) did that and I think that says alot about her.

I am happy for Bret and his wife, but that is kind of tacky to include a website/address where you can send gifts to them! I like how Jessica Seinfeld does her baby gifts: she asks people to donate items to children in need, rather than give baby gifts to her children. Maybe Bret and his wife can take a cue from Jessica.

Very tacky! And Jess is right, he’s not married to Kristi Gibson, though they’ve been together for around 8 years or so. I love Raine’s name, and I like the name Georgia, just not spelled Jorja. Poor girl, she’ll have it misspelled and mispronounced all of her life.

I agree, it is somewhat tacky. But because Bret isn’t a huge celebrity, he has a sort of ‘closeness’ with a lot of his fans and knows them on personal levels. I guess that’s the best way to explain it. Anyway, I don’t care for the name Georgia to begin with and how they spelled it just makes it a million times worse.

I was an 05-05-86 baby…lol. Yeah, I agree, that’s just a lil tacky by pretty much asking for gifts for their new daughter.

wow – I haven’t heard from this guy in ages! Is he still a musician?
It’s a bit strange telling peeps to go to a website though. I’ve heard of a wedding register but not a baby register.

I like the way they spelled Jorja Bleu. It looks and sounds really lovely together. My son has a palindromic birthdate as well 5-9-95.

I think Sarah is right…the whole gift thing is a bit tacky. If fans want to buy gifts great…but check out how expensive BabyStyle is. I’d have a hard time convincing myself to spend $30-$40 on my newborn babies outfit better yet someone elses. Odd…very odd.

reese and ryan’s ava is a 9 – 9 – 1999 baby, which is even cooler :D

wow how tacky asking fans for presents but on the other hand what a great way not to end up with a load of useless crap. cool birthdate too i have a cousin who was born on the 01-02-03 which i think is awesome. congrats to the new parents

Cindy on

I don’t think you guys should be calling it tacky. They said IF YOU WANT. My cousin had a baby registry(spell?)and it was a lot easier for her, cause she didn’t get the same gifts.Plus they already have 1 child, so it might be easier not to get presents that repeat.
